As festival season is in full swing here in the US, there’s one festival Coop is extremely fond of, Riot Fest! Not only is it in his hometown of Chicago but it features various artists from his favorite genres. Not only is Riot Fest a wicked cool festival but it’s also important to the music scene because it’s one of the last fully independent festivals in America. Despite its top-tier headliners (Misfits, My Chemical Romance, and Nine Inch Nails) and growing closer to the size of Lollapalooza, Riot surprisingly maintains its intimate, local vibes.
