Months ago, I was honored to write about Alison Mosshart; a woman worthy of admiration and who rocks beyond words. Revisiting the definition of a badass woman is quite inspiring because to me a badass woman is a woman who is confident and willing to break barriers by showing up as her best self and encouraging other women to do the same.
It’s always exhilarating when you find a group of talented people who care about something you love which in this case is music and working together to bring a vision to life. I’m super excited to announce that Bearded Gentleman is collaborating with the brilliant female-founded, female-led, and female-produced, Women Who Rock.
Women Who Rock, not only celebrates women in music but is also a crusader in women’s health awareness which is beyond inspirational. They unite their supporters to “Rock the Future of Women’s Health” with proceeds benefiting understudied women’s health research at Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation, our nation’s largest research institute dedicated solely to women’s health and reproductive biology. Sadly, due to Covid, the concert was postponed but they will have a new date soon to help bring everyone together for a wonderful cause.
It’s honestly such a pleasure to be teaming up with such badass women. We’ll be working together to feature talented women who deserve to be written about and celebrated with others.
