Corlear band

Corlear Music Premiere – You’re Not Traffic

Summer is around the corner and we can’t wait to enjoy it with some good drinks and great bands.

Corlear is one of the band’s that captures the sweetest things of life, enjoying the day with friends and remembering past shenanigans over beer. Corlear amazing song, “You’re Not Traffic” directed by Zach Cooper begins with a catchy bass line and ascends into a heavy, headbanging crescendo.

Listening to Corlear self-titled LP will make you reminisce of days in college and discovering bands on Limewire, which was definitely my favorite hobby.

Corlear is a no-frills Ridgewood, Queens-based band formed in 2017 by Zach LaRose, Dave Vella, and Alec Reda, who previously played together throughout and following college.

Corlear New York band

Corlear has performed extensively at local Brooklyn and Queens venues, which helped them shape the songs that would make up their debut LP. Released in January 2019, Corlear, fits 13 energetic tracks in just under 26 minutes, blending an eclectic mix of hook-heavy punk, power pop, and lo-fi recalling the college rock heyday of the late ’80s and early ’90s.

The release of Corlear’s latest LP coincided with the addition of drummer Kyle Moore and a run of shows throughout the Northeast. The band continues to play shows in the New York area while working on a follow-up LP.
