As the daughter of legendary jazz bassist, Charlie Haden, Rachel Haden has made a name for herself with various projects throughout the years. She was the co-founder of That Dog!, an original member of The Rentals, and of course one of The Haden Triplets. Rachel Haden has recorded music with Weezer, Ry Cooder, The Martinis, Jimmy Eat World, Ozma, and Beck, as well as toured as Todd Rundgren’s bassist. Most recently she has juggled her time with the reunited That Dog, a solo record, and a brand new project known as Haden & Pepper.
As bass players themselves, both Jon and Coop were stoked to have Rachel Haden on for a candid conversation about music, healing, and of course, the bass!
